I chopped it off...

I've been struggling with my hair since Aidan was born. I had lost sooo much and it was dry and brittle (post-pregnancy hair loss is brutal), so I finally got up enough nerve to chop it off. Here are the results...please forgive the "posing", but I was taking the picture myself...awkward.

Miami-Whitewater Water Playground

We visited the splash pad at Miami-Whitewater Park...it is Awesome!!! Both boys were able to enjoy it & since there is no deep body of water, mommy was able to relax and enjoy it! Joseph had his first bee sting though, but handled it like such a trooper...he also got to taste is very first ICEE. Fun times!

Coney Island

We took the boys to Coney Island (an old school amusement park and water park for those non-Cincinnatians reading this :)). Joseph loved the rides and Aidan was happy just being pushed around in the stroller (thankfully). Although, Mommy almost made Joseph bust his head open trying to put his shoe back on, but to make the little guy feel better Daddy bought snacks for little man...Mt. Dew and a funnel cake...seriously!!!!:)

Grandpa's Birthday at Parky's Farm

God bless Grandpa for wanting to have his birthday party at Parky's Farm...the kids loved it & he loved seeing them so happy. We braved the brief rainstorm and enjoyed fried chicken (& all the fixins) and cupcakes/ice cream cake; but best of all we spent a family afternoon together celebraing Bruce!

Thomas and Friends Live!

Brad and I took Joseph to see Thomas and Friends Live in Dayton for his birthday. It was such a treat to be able to spend the afternoon with just Joseph. I call it our "date"...after the show we went to dinner and then headed home. He loved the show, although it took him until intermission to get what was going on...by the second half he was clapping and wiggling to the music. Big thanks goes to Michelle and Ruby for watching Aidan...we owe you one!
