Thanksgiving 2009

The Featherduster

I've found that a 2 1/2 year old is great help when trying to conquer household chores. Joseph is such an eager helper and really works to "make mommy happy". I recently found the ostrich feather duster that our South African family had sent several years ago and put it to good use. You would have thought that I had just given Joseph a lifesize Lightening McQueen at his reaction...he worked his little heart out and our house shined...thanks to our Joe-Joe!

Our little Aidan!

He is something else! Aidan Clark gets into anything and everything; he climbs, he's in the toilet, rolls the toilet paper roll, digs in the garbage, eats dog food & plays in her water bowl, tries to escape any closed door or gate (and succeeds most times)...you name he'll try it. We named him appropriately because he is our little "fiery one". We love you, A, and wouldn't change a thing!

Cousins

The boys absolutely adore their older cousin, Christoff...especially Joseph. It's so nice to see the boys forming a friendship with each other at such a young age.

Kick Ball!

We enjoyed a nice afternoon of kick ball (with the exception of Joseph--who loves his cars more than kicking balls around the yard) with the family. Aidan and Christoff are awesome little players!

Thanks to my friend, Denise, for taking beautiful pictures of our family. She's awesome and I highly recommend her to any of my Cincy friends and family for pictures!

Dress up

Joseph loves to dress up in the Thomas costume at school. His teachers told Brad during his visit last week, that he wears it most of his time there. Big thank you to Mrs. Emilie for forwarding pictures of Joseph.

Joseph's School Halloween Party

Joseph's school hosted a Halloween party this past week. Aidan and I were so excited that we were able to go and participate. However, the day before the party, mommy was in a mad dash to find Joseph a Halloween costume to wear. I had neglected to think about the fact that his Ouma was bringing his costume up from TN & we didn't have anything for him to wear. Fortunately, I found this adorable firefighter costume and he was adorable!
