Here comes Peter Cottontail...

I took Joseph to the mall today to visit the Easter Bunny! I was a little nervous how well he was going to do, since his "stranger anxiety" has become evident over the past month or so. I sat the little guy on his lap and he was just amazed at the big, furry rabbit. No tears or whines & we even got a half way smile in the picture.

I must also brag that Joseph let mommy shop for over an hour and was such a good sport! I love my little guy!

This past Sunday was such a great day! We started the day with a wonderful church service, lunched at Skyline (a local restaurant in Cincy that serves Cincinnati Chili..yum), shopped at several places for furniture (tables) for our living room & successfully finding one (Joseph was an angel and flirting with all of the sales ladies @ House of France), coming home and taking a family nap for 2 hours, & then grocery shopping AND making it home for the March Madness picks!

Joseph was such a good sport and really boosted mommy and daddy's confidence as parents. While at lunch I got a shot of Joseph slurping some spaghetti and loving each bite. He's becoming such a big boy!

Sunday was definitely a blessed day!

Ultrasound pictures...

Here is a scan of the ultrasound pictures. We got a great profile shot, but the gender shot is a little skewed...do your best! It was quite obvious during the ultrasound that it was a boy, though. I should have more ultrasound pics in a couple of weeks.

I've also attached photos of the family before going into the ultrasound room and right after we found out what we were having!

We braved the "Cincinnati Blizzard" and 9+ inches of snow to find out the sex our little bundle; well, the results are in and we are having.....

Round 2...

My C-section has been scheduled...our little guy or gal will arrive (as of today of course...because some babies have a mind of their own) on August 8, 2008 at 9am. For those of you into numbers he/she will have the birthday of 08-08-08!!! Since I had a C-section with Joey (due to his gigantic size...9lbs. 11oz. & he was 11 days early) and it'll only be 15 months between births, we've elected to schedule another C-section to avoid any possible problems trying to go vaginally.
At my appointment today, everything is going as planned...blood pressure is good, weight gain is good, baby's heartbeat is good! I pray that this pregnancy is as blessed as Joey's was!

A boy or a girl????

We've been getting a lot of inquiries as to if and when we're going to find out the sex of the baby...well the countdown has begun. We will officially find out Saturday at 9:30am. Be on the lookout for an updated blog this weekend.

We both think it will be a boy...we'll see. Name choices thus far are:
Girl: Amelia, Caroline
Boy: Henry, Samuel (I know our dog is Sammie, but Brad really likes it), Charles (Charlie), Owen

Joey- 9 months

So Joey is officially 9 months, 3 weeks...but we just got around to getting his 9 month pictures taken. We had such a great experience this go around...mommy timed it better than his 6 months. Can't believe our next set of pics will be his year!!! At his 9 month doctors visit, he weighed 24.12 lbs. and was 30.5 inches (97% each)...he's a big boy! The doc said that he is currently the size of an average 15 month old. He's growing faster than we can keep clothes on him...it seems like I'm constantly buying things for the next size up...we've already invested in some 2T shirts (just in case). Anyway, we hope you enjoy these pics of the little guy!
