The First Tooth...

Mr. A (Aidan) has cut his first tooth. We've known for weeks that he was working on due to the overwhelming amounts of drool, gnawing on anything and everything, and restless nights...well, I poked my finger in his mouth yesterday and as sure as anything, there it was. I actually caught a glimpse of it as he was laughing last night...it's just further proof that my baby is growing up too fast!

As you can tell, it is very hard for me to get Aidan's attention whenever his brother is around. The little guy could stare at J forever...it's really sweet...wouldn't you say?

Spring Fever!

Joseph was finally able to play outside over the weekend, and in short sleeves no less. We had a beautiful 75 degree day & everyone enjoyed our first taste of spring.

The Oreo Monster

Joseph LOVES oreos...he eats the cookie without a rest. He has one had securely holding the cookie to his mouth and his little teeth just chomp away. Needless to say, that by the end he is covered (face and hands) in mushy cookie. YUM!

Joseph's First Day of School

We just recently enrolled J in a toddler pre-school 2 days a week. We figured it is a great opportunity for him to interact on a regular basis with kids his age. I think we made the right decision because he loves it...as soon as we walk into the building he runs straight to his class and starts his day. There are no tears (knock on wood), or goodbyes even, he just starts to play. I really am happy with the school and the curriculum is based around the arts. He paints, works on fine and gross motor skills, has music, story time, circle time (calendar, weather, etc) and if we choose, they offer a yoga class (don't think his attention span is there just yet...). On top of that, it gives me a couple of hours twice a week that I can spend with just Aidan...he's growing up so fast, that I want to savor each moment with him, like I did with J at that age.
