Joseph's One Year Pictures!

We took Joseph to get his 1 year pictures yesterday; we had to go to a new portrait studio as the one we've been using recently closed and relocated to Northern Kentucky! We had a great experience with the new studio and the photographer really had a way with Joseph (he was giggling and smiling through most of the sitting). These are just a few of pictures that we captured; we purchased the disc, so we have all of his shots. I downloaded these from the disc, so they are not cropped, etc. I'll be sending copies out soon (hopefully this week) for friends and family of the "official" pictures. But, I thought you'd enjoy catching a glimpse of his photo shoot...and for those of you who don't know, he has a slight obsession with sport balls (soccer, basketballs, baseballs, anything resembling a sphere)...we loved the picture of his soccer snarl. What do you think? Perhaps the next David Beckham?

4-D Ultrasound Pics of our little boy

For Christmas, Brad had given me a gift certificate for a 4-D Ultrasound. We finally went on Saturday and were amazed at the images we were able to capture of our little guy. It's hard to say who he really looks like, but I think he looks a lot more like Brad (check out his lips and chin...just like daddy), than Joseph did initially. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Joseph's One Year Check-up

We had Joseph's 1 year checkup and here are his current stats:
Weight= 26.8 lbs. (90-95th percentile)
Height= 32 inches (97th percentile)

I know I've said it before, but he is a BIG BOY! Especially now that I'm carrying around an extra 20 lbs., plus toting my beautiful "little" boy around and up and down stairs throughout the day. By the end of the day I'm exhausted...my doctor was right when she predicted that this pregnancy would be more difficult than my first! Yet, even though it's a little more difficult, I wouldn't trade my life for anything!

First Birthday!!!!!

On May 17th we celebrated Joseph's first birthday with family and friends. It was a great time, with great food, and even better company. Joseph had such a nice time (even with the hurricane force winds) and loved the attention. I can't believe that a year has come and gone...we've all survived! Brad and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy that we love and cherish so much! Thank God for His blessings!

Mr. Cool

Okay, for those of you who know and those of you who don't....our little guy is a FLIRT! He will smile, "talk", and flash those baby blues at any pretty lady that walks buy...who does he get that from I wonder? On a recent trip to Target, he made himself comfortable in the shopping cart, by kicking his leg up, resting his arms out to the side, and took in all of the sights around him. Needless to say, the safety restraints in the cart does not inhibit his ability of being cool!

The laundry basket...

I've learned that I cannot leave anything within Joseph's grasp...he helped mommy "unfold" the laundry and even distributed the clothes nicely on the floor.

New Ultrasound Photos

I've had these ultrasound photos for about 3 weeks now...finally sat down to scan and download. Enjoy...as earlier predicted...IT'S A BOY! The name is a secret until arrival!!!!!!
